OK…these may seem like back-to-back posts, but they’re not. I just couldn’t post the last one until the Ice Cream Party winner had been announced, which happened at yesterday’s Elementary School Jog-a-thon Kick-off. And what a Kick-off it was!! First, on Thursday, Cara and Steve Rhodes kicked off the Jog-a-thon with our Middle Schoolers. [...] The final All-School Prize Assembly for the Jog-a-thon happened this morning–and those kids are still full of energy & excitement. Leave it to Mrs. Hunt to bring it out in them! We even had a few more spins of the wheel! Canned Food & Turkey Drive First we had Mr. Kinney’s announcements for [...] And the money is in! There’s still a bit trickling in–and we appreciate every bit–but the bulk (By FAR) arrived on Wednesday. As usual, counting was an adventure. If you’ve never participated in counting money for a fundraiser, you are missing out! There’s a lot of laughter, comraderie and fun–OK and there’s confusion, complications [...] embedded by Embedded Video It’s DONE! Once again we survived the Jog-a-thon! And it was great! Kudos to Renee & Dawn for a beautifully orgranized event. And to the all the faculty and staff who were soooo supportive. To those parents who jogged alongside their kids! How impressive is that! Even an eighty [...] Wow!! Jog-a-thon is doing great! Each day, as our Treat Ladies tour the Middle School home rooms and meet with Elementary School kids, more and more sponsors are pouring in! I must say, Middle Schoolers, those Elementary Schoolers are out-shining you, at the moment. And we don’t want to hear about how they’re [...] Well, if you did not attend today’s all-school assembly, you missed a rare performance by our very own Renee Hunt, PTF co-Vice President. Although recovering from a cold, Renee had the kids screaming and cheering for PTF’s upcoming annual fundraiser…the JOG-A-THON (S-C-R-E-A-M!!)
